GIS Specialist
The Petroleum Services group at Deloitte provides information, analysis and consulting to 150 of the largest oil and gas companies, oil service companies, utilities and investment banks world-wide.
We are seeking to recruit a GIS specialist, preferably with some experience of the oil and gas industry, to provide support to a small team of industry specialists.
The role will include the following responsibilities:
· Analyzing and loading spatial data associated with oil and gas licenses, fields, wells and infrastructure.
· Generating thematic maps.
· Undertaking monthly updates of the database
· Providing GIS support as required.
Key skills include:
· University degree in GIS, Mapping, Geodesy or related subject.
· Relevant experience with GIS/mapping software (ArcGIS and/or MapInfo), preferably in oil & gas industry.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
· Good analytical skills.
· Fluent in English.
· Ability to fit into a small team
· High diligence and commitment.
